OPPO has started selling the A79 5G smartphone in India, the latest 5G smartphone in the A series, which was unveiled back in August. The smartphone features a 6.72-inch 90Hz LCD screen and is powered by the Dimensity 6020 SoC, which is a rebranding of the Dimensity 700. It is equipped with 8GB of RAM and an additional 8GB of virtual memory.
The phone features a 50MP rear camera and 2MP portrait camera, 8MP front camera, side-mounted fingerprint scanner, polycarbonate frame with metallic texture, IP54 dust and water resistance and a 5,000mAh battery with 33W SuperVOOC fast charging that can charge the phone up to 51% in 30 minutes.
