Intel has unveiled its 14th generation desktop processor family, led by the powerful Intel Core i9-14900K processor. The new generation includes six unlocked desktop processors delivering up to 24 cores, 32 threads and an impressive 6GHz right out of the box.

Enhanced core performance

The Intel Core i7-14700K boasts 20 cores and 28 threads, thanks to the addition of four efficient cores (E-cores) over the previous generation.

In addition, Intel Extreme Tuning Utility (XTU) has added AI Assist, which allows one-click overclocking control for some unlocked 14th generation Intel Core desktop processors.
The i9-14900K, the fastest 6GHz desktop processor out of the box, gives gamers a lot of options. The 25% increase in cores in the i7-14700K increases multi-threaded workloads for creators.
